A sophomore at Hofstra University, Derek Futterman is the host of the Ahead in the Count podcast. He is majoring in journalism concentrated in Sports Media, and is currently the Production Manager at 88.7 FM Radio Hofstra University (WRHU), and Promotions Producer for the New York Islanders Radio Network. As an avid baseball fan, Derek closely follows the MLB, and while he backs the New York Mets, offers his objective thoughts on the latest news and notes across the league.
