 In today’s digital society, social media is an important tool for many businesses and companies. They use social media to market their product or services, and more importantly, get their brand name out there and create a buzz. But along with marketing, employers are also using social media to do something else: carry out cheap and immediate background checks on potential employees. Required Radio’s Zach Galasso spoke to some folks who were on the receiving end of such virtual practices, and prepared this report.
